Proportioning of Powder

Storage silos, silo protection, proportioning and weighing equipment for powder:

Powder for concrete production - all types of cement, fly ash, silica, slag, lime flour etc.

A standard silo is manufactured to the customer requirements in volumes from 40-200 m³ and includes a rack in the desired height, including service platform and ladder for easy access to the silo top. The silo surface is surface treated and top covered in the desired RAL color. Also the company logo can be added.

A silo delivery can include:

• 4 ”or 5” supply pipe
  with connection flange for concrete trucks and reinforced pipe bends
  
  
• Filter system
  Compressed air or shaker cleaning, low emission and capacity according to customer requirements
  
  
• Level measurement
  A system with guided radar level measurement in powder silos. The sensor is placed in the silo top and indicates the degree of filling 0-100%
  with a signal of 4-20 mA.

• Silo safety. Pressure monitoring and control equipment
  
  A silo protection system that monitors the pressure in the silo during filling, provides the user with safety against silo overpressure and negative pressure. The Ground Level Test (GLT) facility - an innovation from our supplier Hycontrol, www.hycontrol.com   -  controls the sensors and activates the overpressure/negative pressure valve before inlet is allowed.

Proportioning Equipment:

The powder is fed from the silo into a weigh hopper by means of a screw conveyor or a rotary gate feeder.

The screw conveyors are made in diameters from 114 mm to 323 mm with a capacity of up to 45 kg/sec.



Inlet, outlet, length and incline are adjusted according to customer requirements.

All screws from CPT have fully welded flights.

Mobile Powder Silo:

The mobile powder silo is pre-assembled from the factory with all additional equipment, ready for connection to the mixing plant. The silo is delivered with cast materials for mobile foundations.

Powder in big-bags:

For special powder, delivered in big-bags, we irecommend a big-bag discharging station, which can be delivered complete with screw conveyor,  sleeve cutter for bag opening, vibrator, ready for operation.
